Nu-Way Supply Can Meet All Your Residential Water Pump Needs

Image of Well Pumps At all Nu-Way Supply wholesale locations we carry a wide variety of well pumps and tanks and have professionals on staff to assist you in selecting the right system to fit your needs. Residential well pumps are available in three basic types, shallow well jet pumps, deep well jet and submersibles, and self-priming or more commonly known as irrigation pumps. Shallow well pumps are used when the well depth does not exceed twenty-five feet otherwise a deep well pump must be used. Submersible pumps require the sinking of a well casing and the pump is submerged beneath the water level inside the well and usually requires a professional for replacement or repair. Irrigation pumps are generally used as an on-demand type pump for watering lawns and require a relay or a manual means of switching the pump on or off. We also stock parts for the pumps we sell as well as accessories and fittings for installation.

Nu-Way Supply Has Goulds Pumps In Stock

Image of Goulds Pump Goulds Pumps has been a leader in the pump industry since 1848 and makes pumps for almost every application. At Nu-Way Supply we stock residential jet and submersible pumps up to two horsepower irrigation pumps up to three horsepower. Larger horsepower pumps can be special ordered as well as pumps for specific applications. A well pump should be sized correctly by a professional so as to provide the gallons per minute and pressure needed to supply today’s homes. Multiple head showers and large whirlpool tubs are critical factors in sizing a well pump. A well drilling professional can also tell you if your well will support a larger pump without sucking the well dry. As a rule, a well driller will provide as standard ten gallons per minute at forty pounds of pressure. High demand fixtures will need as much as 25 gallons per minute at fifty pounds of pressure and require pumps with larger motors or more impellers. Irrigation pumps are generally used to pump water from lakes or ponds and produce more gallons per minute than domestic water pumps. Care should be taken not to exceed the pump’s capacity by zoning sprinkler heads into smaller groups.
